Flora Europaea the Linnean original specimen perennial, G-H mesic, from the forest-steppe up to the upper nemoral belt western Palearctic 2n=16, diploid Brometalia erecti, Stellarietea medii, Artemisietea R87, R38 habitats       One of the few species of Ranunculus with reflected sepals which has white hairs and a bulbous rhizome.
